I would love to have written something nice about this museum and Fort which I was hoping to visit. However when we checked the times of ferries on arriving in Vaxholm, they weren't running until aft...
Well worth the visit
We took a small ferry from the island of Vaxhom across to visit the fort and it was worth the trip. Climb to the top of the tower for an amazing view over the archipelago
Fortress
Fortress q collects a museum, around there are different types of cannons from different times.
Recommended
We saw it by chance when we went by Vaxholm, we picked up a ferry that went alone to that island and did not disappoint us.
Beauty
Beautiful island, very cute and atmospheric. From Stockholm there are ferries, not a problem to get to, the road will take about an hour. Beautiful views on the road. On the island of restaurants and beautiful streets, on a sharp ...
