A park on a ridge overlooking Yokohama and Honmaki
Original Text
At the park on the ridge, you can take a walk while looking at Yokohama and Honmaki on both sides. On this day, after taking a walk in Sankeien, have lunch on Honmaki 5th Street, pass through the mountaintop park, and take a walk to Yamate Station. This day was the best walk day, and it was a very pleasant walk.
On a sunny weekend, I passed from Yamate Station on the Negishi Line to Wada Yamaguchi (former Mycal Honmaki). I was able to enjoy the fresh green. You can also see the sea.
It was March 19th, but the Yokohama Hisakura was in full bloom. Although the number is small, I think you can enjoy cherry blossoms that are different from the pale feeling of Yoshino cherry blossoms because of the dark pink color and the volume of flowers. I think it's good for non-billing on a nice day.
Since it is a large park, there seems to be a way to go to Color 々, but we climbed about 100 steps from Honmaki Shrine to visit. Even on Saturday nights, people were sparse, and only a few people were walking and jogging dogs. Although it is not 360 degrees, you can see the Bay Bridge on the sea side, and you can enjoy a nostalgic night view on the mountain side without very tall buildings.
Get off at Wada Yamaguchi on the Yokohama Municipal Bus. It was very busy where Mycal Honmaki, which once prevailed, was once a popular place, but now it is a residential area that is calm in Aeon. Immediately after crossing the overpass, you will find the entrance to the park. The park is long and thin, and it feels like a park spreads along the ridge of the hill. Is it about 1 time when I go around? There are squares and viewing platforms, and when you look around, you can see Negishi's oil complex and Landesmark Tower, and you can enjoy the scenery of 々. Mt. Fuji ... if it's sunny.
