From the Maruyama Observatory at the top, you can see a panoramic view of almost 360 degrees, and if you look at Mt. Takeko, of course, Okuchibu, the Alps, and the northern Kanto region, you can see the mountains of Akagi and Joetsu borders. It snows on forest roads in winter, but it is a good drive spot because it is easy to drive to the top. There are also several benches on the observatory at the top. Hikers run vertically from here to Shomaru Ridge.
