Fudewan Ancient Village is a historically prosperous village due to the mining and refining of alum. The entire village is built along the natural mountain of Jilong Mountain and faces north. Now it is born from alum, prospers from alum, and also declines from alum. Fudewan Old Street is surrounded by alchemy ruins. The old street is built on the mountain, more than 100 meters long and 3 meters wide. There are more than 60 houses with 1 to 2 storeys on both sides. It was built in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties. The brick-wood structure is the birthplace of the history and culture of alum produced in Fanshan.
