The magnolia trees on Kendal Unified Church Square are spectacular in spring and worth a look. Very close to Kendall Market, there are cobblestone streets nearby, the entrance arch has excellent murals, the church was built in 1882, not open every day, so to go in to visit you need to go to the visitor center to ask.
