linda-huang:“In February 2016, my son and I went to Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park. The scenery was very beautiful. However, the journey was a bit troublesome. We first flew to Hue (not recommended), then took a bus to Dong Hoi, and then joined a group for a one-day tour, which cost 300+ per person (the hotel picked us up and dropped us off. It was late at night when we arrived at the hotel. Is it more expensive if we booked late? One-day tours in Vietnam are very cheap in other places.) We went to Phong Nha Cave and Paradise Cave, both the dry cave and the wet cave. We were very satisfied with the scenery. It felt more beautiful than Guilin and there was no need for this trip.”

翱翔的大鲨鱼:“Also known as Son Thuy Cave. It was once selected by the media as one of the three most beautiful attractions in Vietnam. Son Thuy Cave is the largest known underground cave in the world and is believed to be at least two to five million years old. Surprisingly, this huge cave has remained hidden from the world until 2009, when Vietnam opened up to international tourists to adventure here.
Advance booking is essential. Son Thuy Cave is a huge cave. There are underground rivers, dense jungles and various diverse creatures inside. People can even camp here overnight. It stretches for more than 5 kilometers.”
