The number of volcanoes here ranks first in the world. There are 400 volcanoes in Indonesia, of which 120 are active volcanoes. The Mahawu volcano is one of them. This mountain is located in Tomohon County, North Sulawesi Province. The mountain is not very high in altitude, but the crater is very large. It takes more than an hour to walk around it.”

Pat:“Great looking lobby with plenty of seats for waiting and nice view from the room. All old wooden furniture and old sanitary ware and bath need improvement.
No electric socket nearby the bed or desk; need to switch off the lamp instead. Service is very slow. Wait for the laundry pickup for 2hr.
Cleanliness need definitely an improvement. There is a plenty of hair on the room floor and bathroom. Housekeepers keep talking loudly front of the guest room without cares the guest's privacy.
Only few staffs can speak English. Can be noisy as it is surrounded by two main roads.
But the price is reasonable in overall
Ear plug is recommended at this place. Wifi okay”

When asked, the staff, oh so polite, reassured me that the soap “could be conditioned” – whatever that means! And, the cherry on top: a delightful three-minute delay for a room check, just to make sure I didn’t snag a complimentary pen. I left feeling like a lottery winner who hit the jackpot of mediocrity. Truly a stay to remember! 🎉”
