You can buy "deer crackers" to feed them; many deer will bow before accepting the food, a unique characteristic that tourists appreciate. 2. Todai-ji Temple Todai-ji Temple, one of the most important temples in Japan, houses a large bronze Daibutsu (Great Buddha) and is a UNESCO World Heritage site. 3. Kasuga Taisha Shrine Kasuga Taisha Shrine, with thousands of stone and bronze lanterns, is surrounded by an ancient forest. The atmosphere is peaceful and sacred. 4.
