WB2021:“Obviously a must visit if you're in the city. This is the older part of the city and its historical center. It features old colonial houses, albeit many are being restored, so there is a slight gentrification aspect to the district. Nevertheless, walking through the streets lined with pastel colored houses is gorgeous. You could easily spend a morning or afternoon strolling through the districts various streets, while resting in the many open spaces when you're tired. Also a nice place to grab a bit to eat!”
M25***40:“Part of the old town, this is a beautiful place to wander around and learn a little about the history of the area. There are usually guides who share some essential information (for a fee of course) but the scenery is stunning. You can see miles around the area with impressive scenery.”
Open today at 09:00-18:00 (admission ends at 17:30)
M25***40:“I was completely new to this museum. I only had one regret: I didn't rent a $5 English radio. The exhibits were all in Spanish and I could only sift through the essentials.”
M32***23:“There happened to be a free choir performance on the day we visited the cathedral. The acoustics were wonderful. Very soulful and charming. And there was that big moving indicator hanging high up in the dome pointing to a white page on the floor. This showed that earthquake movement was visible. The architecture and icons were beautiful. It was easy to feel the peace here. It's a beautiful building.”
Open today at 08:30-17:30(Tickets available until 16:30)
M25***40:“Don't miss this historic adventure. Learn about the origins of Panama City, from the Spanish occupation of the indigenous Tibetans, the loss of Captain Morgan and the rebuilding by the Spanish. Wonderful ruins and informative museum. Bring a good camera”
M25***40:“Panama's Biodiversity Museum was designed by Frank Gehry, a Pulitzer Prize winner. It is located at the Pacific end of the Panama Canal, overlooking the Bridge of Americas. The colorful roof panels are very Latin-style buildings, and those who are interested in architecture should not miss it.”
M25***40:“This church is from the colonial period and it has a gilded altar. It is an example of the Spanish influence in the American colonies. Walking around the old Panama City is a wonderful experience.”
M25***40:“The pickup for the day went very smoothly. Our guide for the day was Miguel Ibarra, who was very knowledgeable about the local flora and fauna. With his help, we saw many beautiful birds, frogs, monkeys, sloths, etc. The tour started with a pickup from the hotel, but it was definitely worth it!”
Where to Stay

BKKAV:“This is our go-to hotel in Panama City. It's not the best hotel, but it is unbeatable for its price and location. El Cangrejo has a nice local vibe, with locals walking their dogs, numerous cafes and restaurants, and convenience stores. There is a subway station within walking distance. Staff are friendly and helpful. The only thing is that the hotel needs an upgrade in terms of furniture and decoration; the rooms are a bit dark and could benefit from better lighting.”
Guest User:“My family and I absolutely loved our stay at the brand new Sofitel in Casco Viejo! The service was impeccable all around. We were in love with all the mixed culture details of France and Panama and look forward on coming back!”
Deborah98:“Nice hotel with a nice location. Room was very spacious. However, they woke us up twice at 08:30 to ask if we needed towels and at 10:00 to ask if they could refill the minibar. That was a little weird”
Mister Stephen:“The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Enough space on floor to open bags. Free shuttle only runs on the hour and the schedule can only be found at the hotel. The place to catch it at Terminal 2 is outside exit 17 and cross the road once. I will post pictures. I had a very good breakfast there.”

辰哥浪天涯:“❇️I made an appointment with a friend for dinner. My friend lives in this hotel, so we settled it nearby~
•
❇️About the restaurant:
The restaurant is in the Sofitel Legend Casco Viejo Hotel. The location of this hotel is too good. It is right on the beach. You can watch the sea or the bridge from the room. It is said that people who live there are either rich or noble. This restaurant also needs to be booked in advance. After entering the lobby, the whole feeling is very retro and European style~
❇️The restaurant gives people a very mysterious feeling. The dim lights, each table has a small table lamp, which is just right for supporting. The red wine glasses, water glasses and tableware have been neatly placed on the table.
•
❇️I don’t know what I ordered specifically. The customer helped me order. The beef was very tender, and the olives and other dishes were very delicious. Each dish was also very beautiful. The only downside is that three people sit at a round table, which feels a bit crowded~
•
❇️The service attitude is also super nice, the guys and girls are all dressed in suits, and they introduce the dishes in great detail every time. BUT... The price is not low... Haha, but overall it is still worth experiencing~
•
❇️Surroundings:
There are museums, the old town of Panama, and all kinds of small shops to visit. Oh, and there is also a beach... So it is recommended that you visit the old town in the afternoon, drink coffee, buy figurines, and come here to enjoy it~ It feels great~ #美食旬味会 #浪漫约会餐厅 #颜控最爱下午茶”
M25***40:“The food is delicious and the setting is very beautiful. There are two dining environments, indoor and outdoor. The indoor environment is more suitable for couples to have a quiet meal, while the outdoor environment is suitable for friends and colleagues to have a meal. The price is very reasonable. I recommend this restaurant.”
M25***40:“We like this place very much. The environment is very good and the service is also warm. The most important thing is that the grilled ribs here are really delicious. They are soft and tasty, and the meat is firm and not dry. They are delicious. The French fries are freshly baked, perfect.”
M25***40:“The environment here is really great. When we were very interested in their own beer, the boss even invited us to visit his beer production site to take pictures. Thank you very much to everyone here.”
