何处见琦:“This is a place that is worth visiting. First, because of its unique natural landscape, people can always walk in the scenery and become part of it. Second, it is very suitable for self-driving, and there are no highway tolls. Third, the parks and attractions are still free.”
Opening hours: 09:00-18:00 (admission ends at 17:00)
Maple:“The Perfume Museum showcases the ancient history of perfume as the birthplace of perfume. It was once one of the oldest perfume factories in Grasse. The three floors above and below display ancient perfume-making artifacts, the original perfume containers, and exquisite bottles and jars, which were daily necessities for medieval ladies and still exude luxury. The containers used to hold perfume in different eras include ancient double-eared pointed-bottomed jars, a set of glassware in wooden outer boxes, and modern glass portable bottles inlaid with jewels.
At the exit is Fragonard's largest store in southern France, with hundreds of products on display one by one, from packaging design to the shape of perfume bottles, all of which are very artistic. Is the price very expensive? No, a bottle of 50ml eau de parfum costs only 40 euros, which is very cost-effective.”
小思文:“The International Perfume Museum is also a great place to learn about the characteristics of Provence perfumes. This museum is also very popular. When you visit here, you can buy some perfumes, all of which are made from pure flowers.”
_TI***hy:“Highly recommend tourists to discover the old quartier of Cannes which is less commercialised than the area near train station. Recommend anyone interested in history to visit Musee des explorations du monde, which is nestled within the ancient castle overlooking the old quartier. Although being a small museum, the collection of historical pieces around the world including Ancient Egypt, Greece and Africa is astonishing. The great number of artwork showing ancient Cannes and South of France are also of high historical values. The museum is also free to students.”
jkidd28:“Cannes, the red carpet movie palace, is where movie lovers gather every summer to watch celebrities walk the runway, watch new movies, and see what’s new in the world! Cannes is also a famous tourist destination, with countless people coming here every year!”
云12345:“The Film Palace is famous for the Cannes Film Festival. I saw it on TV and thought it was very grand, but when I actually got there, I was a little disappointed. It was not during the film festival, and the Film Palace looked very plain and small. The red carpet road only took 2 minutes to walk, and the surrounding area was not very big.”
Steven:“A very nice resort with a swimming pool n garden or balcony.
But far away from city centre and one very ridiculous thing was we had to dispose of our own garbage when leaving, couldn't the housekeeping staff do it?
Our deposit will be deducted if we didn't do it.”
Manuel:“Definitely not a 4 star hotel. Didn’t even have a hairdryer in the room and had to ask for it. Several things in the room were obsolete or falling apart. Not worth the price. Breakfast was unimpressive.”
AlonC:“This is a great boutique hotel on a beautiful land with a great view from everywhere. Lovely grounds. The dining room was cute. The breakfast was superb. Easy short walk into town. A great experience. ”
