High.Priestess:“I felt like I was on Games of Thrones, don’t ask me why just gave me that vibe! It’s surreal, like a Time Machine!! It stands on a site of a former mosque that was built when the moors occupied the island. Waiting time to visit inside wasn’t that much and if you are European you don’t pay to enter, just need to show ID. Theres a lot to see inside, don’t just see it from the external side!”
M24***68:“A beautiful town! Chopin and George's former residence is a monastery. There are not many tourists, but the management is still neat and orderly, and the transportation is also convenient.”
_We***53:“You can take a small train from Palma to Soller, which costs 18 euros for a one-way trip and 32 euros for a round trip. However, Soller is still a long way from Port de Soller. If you want to go to Port de Soller, take bus No. 211 for 1.5 euros. You can prepare beach equipment to enjoy the beach and sea view.”
橘果妈:“Bellver Castle. Built in the 13th century, it was originally a fortress, but later it was converted into a mint and prison. It is 3 km from the center of Palma, 112.6 meters above sea level, and is located above the Bay of Mallorca and the islands. In 1300, King Jaime II ordered its construction, and 70 permanent workers, many women and the king's slaves participated in the construction, which lasted for more than 9 years. At the end of the 14th century, it was the residence of King Juan II. Since then, many royal relatives, nobles, foreign heads of state, etc. have often stayed here, including the current King of Spain and Queen Sofia. In 1717, it was converted into a military prison. From 1802 to 1808, Jovianos, the Minister of Finance during the reign of Carlos IV, was imprisoned here. In 1821, it was temporarily used as a mint. In 1931, the state transferred the castle's buildings and the surrounding woods to the Palma City Government, and the castle became the city's history museum and the Desbouygues Classical Sculpture Museum. Many cultural and solemn ceremonial activities of the Palma City Government are also often held here.”
Todemmy:“[Scenery] Banys Arabs Baths is a must-see attraction when visiting the Tramuntana Mountains. It is very convenient if you drive by yourself. Don't miss it.
[Fun] The feeling of ancient Roman ruins is very shocking!”
_We***95:“We went to this attraction just to see the dolphin and sea lion show, and if I'm right, there wasn't much else to see there. We took the free bus there, but got our own taxi back to Palma Nova, and there wasn't much to do after everything except walk to the little port and see some expensive yachts. Definitely not enough to do in a day. But still a great experience for the family.”
Please contact the attraction to confirm specific opening hours
Luisinaa:“A must if you go to Palma de Mallorca and you rent a car! The access to the cap is quite an adventure as the roads are tight but full of nature. Save it for a day when the weather is playing up and the beach is not the first option. I lived for 3 months nearby and I was following the track to the cap every now and then, so I was able to appreciate the view from every time of the day. In high season the roads as they are very curvy and you need to be a bit more than a beginner to get there, go with enough time in case the queue of cars is too long and there’s no place to park. A bus is also a good option and you save the time and stress trying to find a spot!”
TheForkUser:“We were very impressed with this restaurant. The dining area was very attractive, staff pleasant and attentive. The food was delicious and interesting. I had the lamb roast which was succulent . At 21 euros for a main I thought very fairly priced. We will definitely go again..”
TheForkUser:“The staff were exceptional in a very relaxed atmosphere. Attentive, friendly, professional and knowledgable in equal measure. Food was top drawer and whole menu tied together really well. Will be back.”
TheForkUser:“I have been to this restaurant several times and it never disappoints. My husband and our friends went for the fillet steak and I had the pulled beef sandwich dishes were delicious.Definitely worth a visit.”
TheForkUser:“Very nice experience with several different creatives dishes. We were essentially fund of the appetizers with tuna, oysters, and wagyu. I have to acknowledge that we are more to the modern cuisine than to the creative cuisine, but it was nice to try and still a great experience for us.”
TheForkUser:“We were on holidays in Pollenca and stumbled over the restaurant on our first evening. We were immediately served by the welcoming and friendly family. The food was very good and the service was excellent. We came back two more times for dinner and can really recommend the restaurant.”
TheForkUser:“The service at La Vila is exception - especially the 3 lads who could not possible may people feel more welcome. The breqakfast is first class and the garden is a shady, quiet area with lovely food available in the evenings.”
TheForkUser:“nice meal. had the in house made cannelloni with meat in a beschemel sauce, delicious. then the filet with foi gras in port sauce. filet on the small side but very good. had a seat overlooking the port.”
TheForkUser:“Very friendly service, who waited for us extra and gave us brilliant tips about the island. Very cute setting, mostly for outdoors dining and lunches.”
TheForkUser:“I really recomend this restaurant located off the main square and tourist center where both the food, service and staff were exceptional!!!”
TheForkUser:“Restaurant is tucked away very close to the station but is a must - waitress is excellent and so welcoming. The food was sublime and best steak we have EVER had. Please visit if you can and you won’t be disappointed!”
TheForkUser:“Everything was wonderful about our dinner at Son Brull... the ambience, service and delicious food. We went to celebrate as a family for my husband's 60th and it gave us a wonderful experience of time together.”
