Around 2.5 hours were spent on a steep ascent from the Senda de los Cazadores to the Mirador de Calcilarruego viewpoint (walking back with this route is bot adviceable because of the ground condition). We then continued along the official loop via the Faja de Pelay before descending through the Ordesa Valley back to Pradera. It would have been easy option to just walking the valley and back but the viewpoint (the cover picture) was the main reason i wanna do this hike. Prepare a lot of water and food. You also might need to release yourself in the bush so better bring extra water rather than use tissue and leave it there.

For panoramic mountain views, walk towards Aldea Ceresa; every turn offers a new photo op with Western-style architecture and tree-lined streets set against dramatic landscapes. Must-do: Pause for breakfast at the café—sip espresso, soak in the slow rhythms, and chat with friendly locals. Afterwards, explore the village outskirts for glimpses of modern and traditional buildings, perfect for a “cloudy and rainy” atmospheric shot if the weather shifts. Laspuña Piscina is nearby (Aldea Ceresa, 6, 22361 Laspuña)—ideal for a relaxing afternoon or more outdoor snaps. Tips: Laspuña is pleasantly quiet—plan your meals ahead since dining options are limited (and that one restaurant fills up quickly!). Cloudy weather creates striking mountain drama, so don’t let rain deter your explorations—just pack a light raincoat.
