667***77:“Although Rila National Park is a very famous national park and tourist attraction in Bulgaria, due to the poor basic tourism facilities in Bulgaria, it is not very enjoyable to visit this attraction.
The geographical location is about two hours' drive from Sofia. The main attraction in Rila National Park is the Seven Rila Lakes. The park itself is free, and the parking fee is 5 levs. Before starting the hike, you must go up the mountain first. There are various ways. The official and reliable one is the cable car, which costs 18 levs for a round trip. But the cable car is very simple, and you don't jump on it, but you stand in a fixed position. When the cable car comes from behind you, you have to sit down quickly and then manually pull down a safety bar. This fully hollow cable car takes 25 minutes. To be honest, it's still very scary to sit there. It feels like you will fall from the middle if you move a little. You can also choose to take a jeep up the mountain, but it's estimated that you will be half dead.
The cable car starts hiking after getting off, or rock climbing to be exact. Because the various attractions of the Seven Rila Lakes are very scattered, and the mountain is very steep, it is difficult without perfect equipment. It took us an hour to see the first lake. By then I could no longer see the base camp. I was so scared!”
