M27***31:“The room was amazing! Large and even had a bathtub. Staying at this scenic area hotel is a must! Because it's a scenic area hotel, you don't have to wait for the sightseeing bus at night. You can just stroll back to the hotel after the show. Also, when the crowds get really busy for the afternoon show, they'll let you park in the parking lot outside the main gate, which is understandable. After the show, to prevent a stampede, the scenic area staff will set up a human wall to limit the flow of people. After parking, you'll need to register at the visitor center. From the elevator, you'll take the hotel's sightseeing bus directly to the entrance of the scenic area hotel, a different route from other guests. Breakfast is about 100 meters from the hotel and is quite good. The boat ride is only 20 yuan, and the fish food is 10 yuan. Be sure to buy your Kongming lanterns early in the morning; there's a limit on availability. The scenic area isn't large, so staying at the scenic area is a must. The scenic area and hotel package is a two-day package, so enjoy the day before and continue the next day.”

1. Gexian Temple is located in Gexian Village, a 4A scenic spot. Gexian Village is an ecological resort town in the suburbs of Shangrao City. It is close to the famous Taoist mountain Gexian Mountain and covers an area of more than 430,000 square meters. It was opened in 2016. The ancient streets and houses at the foot of the mountain are beautiful, quiet and peaceful, and the night view is beautiful; the mountain has a wide view and many temples. It is a township that integrates scenic photography, ancient style photography, vacation health, worshiping Buddha, and parent-child entertainment. The scenic area is divided into two major parts: Gexian Village and Tianjing Terrace. In history, there are footprints of celebrities such as Ge Xuan, Wang Anshi, Bai Juyi, and Li Shangyin.

Gexian Temple was first built during the Xiantong period of the Tang Dynasty (860-874) and was built by order of Emperor Yizong of the Tang Dynasty, Li Yu, to honor the famous Taoist and founder of the Lingbao School, Ge Xuan, who became an immortal in the first year of Chiwu in the Han Dynasty (238). In the middle of the Tang Dynasty, the name of the mountain was changed from Yungang Mountain to Gexian Mountain. In the second year of Zhiping in the Northern Song Dynasty (1065), Emperor Yingzong of the Song Dynasty changed the name of the temple to Yuxu Temple. The temple is large in scale and has many halls, including the Great Gexian Hall (the main hall, dedicated to Gexian, with lots of fortune sticks on the ground), Yuanchen Hall, God of Wealth Hall, God of Wealth Hall, Niangniang Hall, Wenchang Hall, Sanqing Hall, Yuhuang Hall, Zhaitang (vegetarian meals are served every day, except for steamed buns, which are 5 yuan, and the rest are free. The aunt who served the dishes asked me to order a few steamed buns), Lecture Hall, Ksitigarbha Hall, Dongxiangke Building, Jixian Hall, Daoshe, Yuxu Temple, Ciji Temple, Ziyun Taoist Temple, teahouse, etc. Many are under construction. Near the temple are:
① Reception Pavilion: The gate pavilion on the hillside is a 4-story 3-hole white stone archway
② Xianweng Building: A building under construction on the hillside
③ Lingbao Zongtan: The main square outside the temple, the terrain is lower than that of Gexian Temple, and it is under construction. On the deepest screen wall, there are inscriptions of immortals riding cranes and "Xiaoyaoxu Sutra"
④Sword Testing Stone: a large round stone located on the small road next to the Lingbao Sect Altar. The dents on the stone are like being chopped by a sword
⑤Buyun Pavilion: a double-eaved round pavilion on the hill behind the Sword Testing Stone
⑥Stele Corridor: an open-air courtyard with many poetry steles erected in the courtyard. I didn't see the ancient year number, so I guess it is a modern work
⑦Feisheng Pavilion: a hexagonal double-eaved pavilion on the edge of the cliff. Be careful because there is a missing fence. You can get there by the mountain forest path outside the temple
⑧Gexian Terrace: a stone platform outside the main hall, with a cliff on one side
⑨Gexian Tea Garden: a farmland tea garden
⑩Guandao Pavilion: a hexagonal double-eaved pavilion on the cliff outside the gate of the Great Gexian Hall”

There are many people eating in the morning, and you need to wait for a seat at the beginning.
This is a buffet. The variety is not particularly rich, but basically there is everything to meet your needs. I have a simple breakfast, a bowl of soup noodles, a cup of coffee, and something else is definitely enough. There are also cold dishes here, but I don’t recommend it because it doesn’t feel fresh.”
