My local friend really hooked me up! After exploring Dounan Flower Market, we headed straight to this Yunnan wild mushroom hot pot place. It was so fresh it blew my mind~ Certified delicious by locals! The mushrooms are all freshly sliced to order; they don't taste like they've been sitting around at all~ They strictly time the cooking, and the texture is crisp, tender, and chewy. It's not the bland taste of ordinary mushrooms, but the pure, fresh aroma of the mountains. The broth is made with pure water from Fuxian Lake + Wuliang Mountain black-bone chicken, giving it a remarkably clean, fresh flavor~ Drink the soup first, then eat the mushrooms—the authentic flavor is so comforting~ 8 types of pure wild mushrooms in one pot!!! This trip was definitely worth it!! 🥹
