The Samuel Beckett Bridge was opened in 2009 & was designed by the world famous Spanish architect, Santiago Calatrava. This harp-like bridge can open at a 90 degrees angle to allow ships to pass, as we witnessed recently at the Tall-Ships festival.
This is a very famous bridge on the Liffey River in Dublin. It is called the Samuel Beckett Bridge. It looks very strange. A slanting bridge is pulled up with iron cables. This kind of iron cable bridge is very Is different. It is a pure pedestrian bridge and a beautiful scenery on the Liffey River.
One city and one river. There are countless bridges on the Liffey River in Dublin, the capital of Ireland. The most famous is probably the Halfpenny Bridge. I flipped the phone and I couldn't find the half-penny bridge that I had taken. I took this Samuel Beckett bridge. It is estimated that there are too many people on the Halfpenny Bridge, so I didn't shoot. The bridge is half an hour's walk from the Halfpenny Bridge. The shape is the national standard of Ireland-the harp, and the night scene is more beautiful.
Samuel Baker Bridge is a famous bridge in Dublin city. Its design is very novel, it is a single cable stayed bridge. It connects the John Rogerson Wharf on the South Bank and the North Wall Wharf on the North Bank, and is one of the important symbols of Dublin.
