Dali West Lake is located in the foothills of Fozhong Mountain and Cangshan Yunnong Peak in Youzhen Town, Wuyuan County, Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture. It is a plateau Pingba freshwater lake. There are six villages on the lakeside (Zhangjiadeng, Qingshuitang, Dongdeng, Zhongdeng, Nandeng, Haitang). The lake is clear and green and beautiful.
