What a jewel in the crown of Wiesbaden's culinary scene. From start to finish a delight and a firework of flavors. Planning a trip there again very soon.
This was our first time eating at the ENTE Wiesbaden. Everything was exceptional from the hosts and servers to the food. We also enjoyed a great wine pairing.
Highly deserved michelin star. The menu, staff, and drinks were on par. The price was extremely reasonable for the six course meal. I would recommend to anyone.
Food was conversation stoper. We literally couldnt talk our next words with every single bite of every dish because of pleasure explosion in our mouths. There is no enough words for the food. Staff was amazing as well. They knew english very well, kind, open to serve alternatives. Overall, once in a lifetime experience.
For a €450 dinner for two, it was just ok in terms of flavor, service, and overall experience. The appearance of the food gets top marks for creativity and aesthetic appeal. The wine pairings also deserve praise. But the server poured sparkling water into my still water glass, I was bitten by mosquitoes, and when we asked to take home a small gluten-free roll (these are hard to find), I would have expected a Michelin restaurant to give us a couple in the box for good customer service, not just that single one. I also got a stomach-ache towards the middle of the meal. We still enjoyed ourselves, but do not need to return there soon.
