It is not unreasonable for Hong Kong to be rated as a world-class livable city. It has always been thought that Hong Kong is a prosperous metropolis. However, after living here, it was discovered that there were so many mountains to climb in Hong Kong. So every weekend I arrange to go mountain climbing, and every time I go to different places. Datan Water Traffic is relatively easy. Starting from the vicinity of Quarry Bay to the mountains, it started as a cement uphill road like a highway. It was not too tired. There were no steps in the whole journey. It was an entry-level outing route. You can see the stone arch bridge in the middle section. This is the reservoir of Datan. After walking up and down the pond, the whole process lasts about two hours. It is a good place to rest and exercise at weekends away from downtown areas.
Uphill at the squid gush, enter from the Baijia Mountain Road, all the way up gently, without steps, very easy to walk. Halfway, bifurcation, one leading to Tai Tan Tu Pond, and one leading to Huang Nichung Gorge are all part of Hong Kong Island Trail. We went to Datan and passed through several ponds. The ponds were green and there were many big carps, as if we had come to Qiandao Lake. There are blind people and guide dogs on the road. Even if you can't see the beautiful scenery, it's beautiful to smell the fragrance of grass far away from the city.
Datan is a reservoir, but this mountain climbing principle is really a good weekend leisure activity. The scenery along the way was very good, overlooking Hong Kong Island. But everybody must bring enough water and food with them. There are no small shops to sell them all the way.
Only when you have been here can you call yourself a real Hong Kong. A return to nature, a beautiful reservoir.
Hong Kong is not only a place to shop, but also a park with such a long hike.
