Yellow Crane Tower Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
I flew to Wuhan specifically for this photo!!
【📷 A trip to Wuhan, the story of 18 photos】
My purpose of flying to Wuhan was just for those 18 photos. The beautiful scenery of this city is so attractive that I embarked on a special forces-like journey, shuttling through the streets and alleys of Wuhan, and finally got the 18 photos I liked. When I posted them on my circle of friends, local friends were amazed and said they had never seen such beautiful scenery.
Now, I share my journey with you, so that you can also glimpse the style of Wuhan.
✅Day one:
👉I'm in the same frame with the Yellow Crane Tower and the Greenland Center
👉Yellow Crane Tower and Tortoise Mountain TV Tower in the same frame
👉Yingwuzhou Bridge and Tortoise Mountain TV Tower in the same frame
👉Guiyuan Temple and Yingwuzhou Bridge in the same frame
👉Yellow Crane Tower and Wuhan Corporate World in the same frame
👉Colorful Zheng Lane
👉No. 37 Desheng Bridge
✅Day two:
👉Lonely tree
👉Vine tree leads flowers
👉Photographing trains from the Changjiang Bridge sentry box
👉Butterfly Spring
👉Yangsigang Bridge
👉Meixunlimen Night Market
✅Day three:
👉Key Building Jianer Ground Subway Station
👉Yingwuzhou Bridge
👉Mecox Lane
👉Dragon King Temple
Among these photos, one is the Yingwuzhou Bridge in the misty rain, which I shot from an unfinished building. Another one is Guiyuan Temple and Yingwuzhou Bridge in the same frame, the camera position is near Hanyang Railway Station. Another one is the train and Yellow Crane Tower in the same frame, the position is at the sentry box of the Changjiang Bridge. I came out of the west gate of the Yellow Crane Tower and walked about 300 meters along the road, and I could see the wire fence.
Another one is the Yellow Crane Tower and the Greenland Center in the same frame, the camera position is near the Fuxing Road subway station. Another one is shot in the air above the Yangsigang Bridge, the scenery is magnificent. Another one is shot under the bridge, which has a different flavor.
I also took pictures of the vine tree leading flowers, the lonely tree, the white space, the Butterfly Spring and other beautiful sceneries. Each photo records my footprints and feelings in Wuhan.
This trip to Wuhan allowed me to appreciate the unique charm of this city. I treasure these 18 photos in my heart as eternal memories. And now, I share them with you, hoping that you can also feel the beauty and charm of Wuhan.
xavier_demetriusnightshade Magical area- Yellow Crane Tower 🗼🗼🗼
This historical tower is hot spot for tourists in Wuhan.
The current building was built in 1980-85 years but original layout has knows ancient drawings.
The Tower has 5 floors which you really need to climb around the building but you absolutely will not feel tired. With each floor you will discover more and more breathtaking view to the city.

A day out in Wuhan
Upon climbing to the top of the Yellow Crane Tower, the whole of Wuhan reveals it's true beauty. Fill yourself up with enough hot dry noodles 热干面 and that should give you enough energy to explore the this historic site.
If you still have time for more, then head over to the East Lake and witness another beautiful site. If your legs are tired at this point, then hire one of the many bikes available around the park.
When evening comes, why not visit Jianghan Street for a taste of Europe in the heart of Wuhan. With many designer stores, coffee shops and restaurant, it's a perfect place to finish your trip.

🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸
Visiting Wuhan University during cherry blossom season was a breathtaking experience that left me in awe of the beauty of nature. The university's campus, already renowned for its stunning architecture and lush greenery, transforms into a scene straight out of a fairytale during this time of year. 🌸🌿
As I walked through the campus, I was surrounded by a sea of pink and white cherry blossoms, their delicate petals fluttering in the breeze. 🌸 The trees, which line the pathways and frame the historic buildings, create a stunning contrast against the blue sky, making for a truly picturesque setting. 🏛️
One of the most enchanting spots on campus was the Cherry Blossom Avenue, a tree-lined path that stretches for nearly a kilometer. Walking down this avenue, with the cherry blossoms in full bloom overhead, was a serene and magical experience that I will never forget. 🚶♀️🚶♂️
In addition to the beauty of the cherry blossoms themselves, the atmosphere on campus during this time was joyful and festive. 🎉 Students and visitors alike gathered under the trees to admire the blooms, take photos, and enjoy the beauty of the season. 📸🌸
Overall, visiting Wuhan University during cherry blossom season was a delight for the senses. The beauty of the blossoms, combined with the historic surroundings and lively atmosphere, made for a truly memorable experience. It's a must-visit for anyone looking to witness the beauty of nature in full bloom. 🌸💫 #CherryBlossoms #NatureBeauty #SpringInWuhan

🌸 East Lake Cherry Garden (admission fee): The garden has over ten thousand cherry trees and is an excellent place to view cherry blossoms in Wuhan. Despite the constant flow of people, the beauty of the cherry garden is still captivating. Currently, only the early cherry blossoms are in bloom, and to see the whole garden in full bloom, you'll have to wait until around March 20th.
🌸 Wuhan University (free but reservation by phone 📱 required): Early cherry blossoms have bloomed near Luojia Villa and the entrance of Teaching Building 5, but they have started to wither, while the cherry blossoms near Cherry Blossom Castle have not yet bloomed, but the buds are already visible, expected to bloom around March 20th.
🌸 Xibeihu Square (free): There are about 500 cherry trees by the lake, where you can take photos of the romantic cherry blossom avenue, full of ambiance.
🌸 Xiyuan Park (free): There are several large cherry trees on the lakeside green lawn, suitable for picnics, and you can take pictures of the beautiful scenery of cherry blossoms and the lake.
🌸 Turtle Mountain Park (free): The hillside is covered with pink cherry blossoms, and although the trees are slightly smaller, the blooming scene is equally charming. Here you can take photos of the cherry blossoms with the Turtle Mountain TV Tower 🗼 in the same frame, and from the top, you can see the Parrot Island Bridge, the Yangtze River Bridge, the Yellow Crane Tower, and other famous sights.
🌸 Qingchuan Pavilion (free): Located opposite Turtle Mountain, you can check in here as well. The cherry trees here blend perfectly with the surrounding environment, and the photo effect has a strong Japanese style.
Before taking photos, why not visit Grandpa Doesn't Make Tea, a flower-themed store, to buy this year's new cherry blossom 🌸 products, available in three flavors: Spring Return·Cherry Blossom, Spring Return·Cherry Snow, and Spring Return·Cherry Longan. I tried the Cherry Longan, and with each sip, you can taste the sweetness of the longan fruit, and the fragrant milk tea pairs perfectly with 'Fresh Flowers'. Hurry up and take a photo with the cherry blossoms - my heart, I just can't let go ❤
It's suggested that everyone plan to come to Wuhan to view the cherry blossoms around March 20th. Due to the impact of freezing rain, the blossoms this year are relatively late, so plan your time wisely, Wuhan definitely won't disappoint you!

Enshi Grand Canyon Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
we started from cable car down to up station and did 6k on the top of the ridge until escalators. followed by few kilometers bus ride from escalator down station to cable car down station back. then walked down the stairs to follow the green path on the bottom of the valley. all together 15 km GPS measured was gold. highly recommended for hiking lovers !
The Grand Canyon is approximately 2 hours by car from Enshi. The total trek is around 10 kilometres and takes around 4-5 hours. Do take the cable car as it covers a lo of grounds over a not very scenic part of the mountains. There are plenty of food stalls along the way for u to fuel up
#roadtrip#hiking#nationalpark#summervacation#hikingtrails#urbanexplorer
Enshi five-day tour self-driving route recommended!
Enshi is located at the intersection of Hubei, Hunan and Guizhou provinces. It is cold in winter and cold in summer. It has abundant rainfall and abundant four seasons. The most famous one is Enshi Grand Canyon, but there are many small attractions. Shaojingmei, hurry to Mark
Itinerary recommendation:
D1 Arrival, live in Enshi Grand Canyon
D2 Enshi Grand Canyon Qixingzhai, Yunlong Ground, "Dragon Boat Tune" live performance
D3 Golden Cave, Tangya Toast City, Live Tree House
D4 Enshiping Dam Camp, Sidongxia
D5 Return
Transportation:
1 There are not many flights directly to Enshi. If there is no direct flight to Enshi in your city, you can consider going to Wuhan and then taking a train to Enshi.
2 After you get to Enshi, you can pick up your car and drive. Since there are many mountain roads, it is recommended to purchase the whole car insurance at the same time.
3 If you encounter thunderstorms in summer, you should pay attention to the road conditions in time, there may be mudslides or landslides leading to road closures.
:
1 Enshi Grand Canyon is divided into two main scenic spots: Yunlong and Qixingzhai. The upper seven-star village can take the cable car, and there are also hand-held elevators to go down the mountain. The entire scenic area is very large. There are no attractions in the two sections of the mountain and the downhill. It is recommended to take the cable car to save energy and time.
2 "Dragon Boat Tune" is a folk song of Lichuan. The real performance is based on the love story of a pair of Tujia boys and girls in the Tusi era, describing their touching stories of breaking away from feudal ties and pursuing free love. The scene is spectacular and you can better understand the local culture.
3Tangya Tusi City is a late Ming Dynasty ruins. If you just think of yourself as a hillside, it is recommended to find a explanation.
4 The number of tree house hotels in Lupingbaying is limited. It is often full in the peak season during the summer vacation. It is recommended to book in advance.
Hotel recommendation:
Enshi Grand Canyon Daughter Village Hotel. Very close to the Grand Canyon, the rooms are large in size, with balconies facing the mountain and elegantly furnished. The hotel has breakfast available and is cost effective.
pingbaying tree house. As if living in a Nordic cabin, the air in the virgin forest is exceptionally good. The detached chalet is quiet and romantic, but the facilities are not luxurious, but clean and comfortable.
Enshi Grand Canyon, National Geographic didn't lie to me, it's super beautiful~
Enshi Grand Canyon, as the most famous scenic spot in Enshi, has always been the representative of Enshi. Its Yunlong Rift has been praised by National Geographic as the most beautiful scar on China's land, with sheer cliffs surrounding peaks, rifts matching sinkholes, and all kinds of extreme landscapes of karst topography are included here. Friends who travel to Enshi must go and experience it.
Enshi Grand Canyon was developed relatively late (the overall development of Enshi was also late, and the history with highways is very short), it has learned a lot from the development ideas of many famous mountains and rivers in China. After visiting, I feel that the scenery is indeed very beautiful and worth a visit,
💕💕💕Tips:
1️⃣ The distance from Enshi High-speed Train Station to the Grand Canyon is very far, and the road conditions are not good (all are national and provincial roads), which is very bumpy. Those who get carsick can consider taking a car from Lichuan High-speed Train Station, which is closer and the road conditions are better.
2️⃣ There are many homestays with great views next to the Enshi Grand Canyon in Mufu Village, which are very cost-effective. It is highly recommended to stay here for one night. If you are lucky, you can see the morning mist and sea of clouds in the morning. If you encounter the rapeseed flower season, it is as beautiful as an oil painting.
3️⃣ Friends who have difficulty walking must be mentally prepared. The Enshi Grand Canyon scenic area is designed to be very large. It's not that it's difficult to climb, but simply that the route design is very long. Under normal circumstances, it requires Qixingzhai (3h by cable car, 4h without cable car) + Yunlong Rift (1.5h by elevator, 2h without elevator)~ These do not include waiting time in line, and it takes twenty minutes to walk from the parking lot to the entrance of the scenic area.
4️⃣ The most beautiful Mufu Waterfall of Yunlong Rift is near the vertical elevator at the end. If you go to the rift, be sure to walk to the end, and it's best to bring an umbrella, as there is a long exposed path to walk after the elevator.
5️⃣ There are supplies along the Qixingzhai scenic area, with reasonable prices. There are disposable walking sticks for sale in the parking lot, and there are no supplies inside Yunlong Rift, so remember to bring a bottle of water.
6️⃣ The uphill cable car of Qixingzhai is really not necessary to take (unless you are really in a hurry or have difficulty walking). The scenic bus can directly take you to the entrance halfway up the mountain. The actual extra climb is just a section of the cliff plank road, and you can pass by the Immortal Peak and South Heaven Gate, all with great views. The Qixingzhai downhill escalator is highly recommended, it's affordable and you can enjoy the scenery slowly.
7️⃣ You must take the elevator at the exit of Yunlong Rift, otherwise, you'll be exhausted. There is still a long way to go after taking the elevator.
8️⃣ Those who don't have a Hubei annual pass can find locals to buy tickets which can be cheaper (such as drivers). If you are in a hurry or have difficulty walking, you can consider only going to Yunlong Rift. Tickets can be purchased separately, and the peak forest of the Grand Canyon can be seen along the way...
9️⃣ There are automatic storage lockers at the parking lot skybridge, costing 10-20 per day depending on the size of the locker (the largest size suitcase can also fit).
Enshi, Hubei, is the best place to experience outdoor mountain climbing and natural oxygen bars
🏨 Enshi Grand Canyon
❤Recommended reason:
I have longed to visit the Enshi Grand Canyon, and finally, I made it. As a 5A tourist attraction, it's a great place for outdoor climbing and a natural oxygen bar. Those who love natural landscapes really shouldn't miss it!
🌟Highlights:
The Grand Canyon is divided into two main scenic areas:
Qixingzhai (on the mountain) and Yunlong Rift (below the mountain)
Purchase a combo ticket in advance, which includes the Grand Canyon entrance ticket, ground cable car, Yunlong Rift, Qixingzhai, scenic shuttle bus, cableway ascent, vertical ladder, and escalator
🗓Itinerary:
Day 1 Wuhan to Enshi takes about 4 hours. After arriving at Enshi station, exit the station, cross the road to the bus station, and buy a ticket to the Enshi Grand Canyon (depart when full), which takes about 1.5 hours.
The scenery along the way is also nice! After arriving, call the hostel owner to pick you up, have dinner, check in, and rest up!
Day 2 The hostel provides breakfast. After eating, start climbing. Enter the scenic area and first take the ground cable car (a must-ride section), then choose to go to Qixingzhai or the rift.
You can start with climbing the mountain, take the cable car up, enjoy the beautiful view below, and have a great experience. Next is touring the mountain, which takes about 2 hours in total.
There are cliff corridors, stone forests, and the famous 'One Incense Stick', where every shot is stunningly beautiful. The last part of the descent is by escalator (this is very necessary, as it saves energy), and then a scenic shuttle bus takes you to the entrance of the scenic area.
If you come down early, go directly to the rift, which takes about 2 hours in total. It's very cool, with waterfalls cascading down, rapid streams, and even a Rainbow Waterfall. It's truly beautiful, contrasting with the scenery on the mountain, another kind of beauty, finishing two scenic areas in one day!
📝Note tips:
If you have enough time, you can stroll slowly. It is recommended to visit one scenic area per day, so your legs won't be too sore the next day, making it a bit more relaxed. You can also finish both in one day, but it's a bit tiring for the legs!

I went around 5pm and there was plenty of people. I wanted to go biking and I didn’t wait more than 10 mins to rent a bike.
There is a main tourist center that is right next to their beach area. You can catch a shuttle that can take you to the beach. Not sure the cost.
It’s a great place to go with family, friends or even solo
