Photos of Shizhong Temple

Shizhong Temple is located in Shibao Mountain, Jianchuan County, Dali Prefecture, Yunnan Province. There is a huge reclining Buddha in the back trough of the main hall. He wears a flowered robe with a yellow background, a bead crown, and a red rosary on his chest. His face is red and black, his lips are slightly parted, and his eyebrows are slightly furrowed, showing the Tibetan plateau. Unique look. There are also rock paintings and Buddhist stone carvings handed down from the Tang and Song Dynasties in the temple week.
