Located beside China National Highway 217 from Karamay to Burqin County, the Ghost City is a typical Yardang landform. The huge stone pillars of varied shapes in the Gobi make magnificent scenery. The Ghost City is also known as "Wind City." The strong wind blows around stone pillars, wailing like ghosts and howling like wolves, making it scary and seemingly filled with ghosts.
