Griffith Observatory Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
Griffith Observatory for NON-GEEKS
If you are not a fan of museums like me, there is still a reason to visit Griffith Observatory - the fantastic view of LA.
I took LA DOT’s FREE (YES IT IS FOC) DASH Observatory/ Los Feliz bus to Griffith Observatory, and it dropped us off right at the entrance. The bus ride was fun, and we got to see some cool sights along the way.
Once we arrived, we climbed up a little hill to reach the observatory, and the view was amazing! We could see all of Los Angeles spread out below us like a giant puzzle. The tall buildings downtown, the Hollywood sign in the distance, and rolling hills of Griffith Park. We spent hours just staring at the view and taking pictures. Inside the observatory, we learned all about space and stars, but nothing beats the view from outside.

Hong Kong is a destination with so much culture, outdoors, nightlife, food and history! I want to travel to Hong Kong and spend a day in the famous Ocean Park, enjoy seafood in Sai Kung and perhaps even hop on a ferry to Macau!
#WinHKFlight Visit the LA Observatory

The LA Observatory's summit offers an unparalleled vista of both downtown Los Angeles and the iconic Hollywood sign. From this lofty perch, the sprawling metropolis unfurls beneath you, its pulsating energy palpable even from afar. Skyscrapers punctuate the cityscape while the Hollywood sign stands as a beacon of cinematic history against the backdrop of the Santa Monica Mountains. As the sun sets, the skyline ignites with a kaleidoscope of colours, casting a mesmerizing glow over the urban landscape. It's a panoramic tableau that captures the essence of LA's allure, blending glamour, ambition, and dreams under the vast Californian sky. I believe this will make you no regret for such a trip!

A Visit to Griffith Observatory
Griffith Observatory is located at 2800 E Observatory Rd., Los Angeles, California 90027
United States.
It is an Art Deco stargazing spot atop Mount Hollywood in Griffith Park. For those astronomy enthusiasts or who are interested in stargazing is one of the best spot.
The Griffith Observatory#GriffithObservatory is one of the most visited observatories in the world with various reasons. Beside arts and stargazing, the view of Hollywood sign from here with the photogenic views is where many visitors as well.
Of course, Griffith Observatory's main draw, though the free entry was certainly a bonus. A fee of between $6 and $10 to see the planetarium shows is worth it if you happen to be there too.

California 1 Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
Big Sur→A wonder on the California Highway coastline
Big Sur, the first place in the 'Rural Landscape' section of the 50 classics recommended by National Geographic. Big Sur is not a fixed attraction, but a road about 90 miles long on Highway 1 in the United States, from Carmel to Hearst Castle, every place is worth stopping, and any casual shot is a blockbuster.
Big Sur (Big Sur) is located in the middle of the California coastline, connecting Carmel Fish Saint Simon. The origin of the name Big Sur is Spanish, meaning 'Big South', but the south here refers to the southern part of the Monterey Peninsula. Half cliff, half ocean, this road that combines oddity, danger, and handsomeness, in addition to beauty, is also a test of the driver's skills.
This winding road can definitely be called a charming, romantic, thrilling and exciting section in the American coastline, the magnificent Pacific Ocean, the beautiful sunset, the deep canyon, the deep forest, the rugged mountains Various natural landscapes are integrated into this section of the journey, just like a natural art gallery, and you will not feel tired of visiting 100 times.
Big Sur✅Must experience
➡️Driving on the coastal highway
Driving on California Highway 1 along the cliff, passing through the towering red shirt forest, stopping at the viewing platform, enjoying the beautiful scenery
➡️Feel the beautiful atmosphere of Nepenthe
If you come to Big Sur and don't go to Nepenthe, the whole journey is incomplete.
➡️Hike to the secluded bay
Go to the small road of Partington Cove, 3 kilometers back and forth, but 90 meters high, the vegetation on the road is rich, you can choose to go left or right halfway (the end point on the left is a small bay with few people), go to the right and pass the small bridge , There will be a tunnel (Paddington made, once walked S wine), pass through it, you can see the slag of Pa Gong Yang.
🧳Preparation before departure:
Check the weather: Be sure to choose a sunny day, everything has two sides, how charming the sunny Big Sur is, how terrifying the rainy Big Sur is.
Map: Download the offline map in advance, it is common to have no signal on the way.
Refuel: Fill up the car before entering Big Sur, there are few gas stations in this area and the price is expensive.
Driving time: It gets dark early in winter, it is recommended to play for 1 whole day, 7-8 hours in summer.
Check-in point
The two big bridges Rocky Creek Bridge and Bixby Creek Bridge have been built for more than 90 years. The two bridges are close in distance, similar in construction style, but the latter has a more magnificent view and is easy to produce big shots.
Beach purple beach
This beach is not a romantic and leisurely style, it is more like a desert in the forest, an oasis in the desert, to get here you have to cross a forest, drive a very narrow road, we come for the purple, but the naked eye But I can't see the obvious purple. After peeling off the surface yellow sand, the shallow purple will be revealed underneath, so many bloggers take pictures of the purple so obvious, it is really confusing, although I didn’t see the purple beach, but the wild and unruly temperament here also attracts me very much.
Smugglers Cave
A charming treasure cave, quiet with few people, very filmable.
California 1 State Route 1
It is the mother of all roads. Impressive as the road links the ocean with the mountains and the forest. Views more magnificent than each other. It is a road to do slowly and enjoy this magical moment.#naturalwonders
The majority of California's Highway One covers the coastline, with mountains on one side and the sea on the other. To get to Los Angeles, we suggest that you drive from the north to the south. This route hugs the coastline. Scenic attractions along the way include the Golden Gate Bridge, Half Moon Bay and Pigeon Point Lighthouse. You can admire the ocean, as well as giant boulders and seabirds, on your journey.
The United States
This cliff swing is very dangerous, with the children not recommending it, there is no place to help, so I sent my father to look at it, we look at the cliff, three swings, three big door holes, the first largest The graffiti on the swing is very colorful, a lot of smiles [happy], and these graffiti will change constantly. It seems that some people have specially maintained it. When we go, it is still a bit cold. If you can sit on a swing in the summer, meet the waves. Its very sensation when you take a photo.

Best days @ Universal Studios Hollywood
We had the best experience at Universal Studios Hollywood. The rides were amazing and so much fun. The Super Mario brothers at the Super Mario World remind me of my childhood days when I would spend my entire Saturday afternoon playing that old mario game with my Dad. It's a dream come
true for me. We got express passes and true to its name, everything was indeed express there were no waiting times. Bravo! There are a lot of food to choose from. The staff were all friendly and nice. My nieces had a lot of fun including us, adults. We'll definitely come back to experience more fun in the future.

One of the coolest attractions in the world!
A must-experience in this lifetime, the otherworldly feeling—Valley of Fire in the United States!
😜Speaking of places you must visit in this lifetime, the Valley of Fire in the United States is definitely on this list! This hottest place in the world, with its magical charm, is bursting with energy!
💃The Valley of Fire, Valley of Fire State Park is located 90 kilometers northeast of Las Vegas, USA, commonly known as the Valley of Fire. Established in 1935, it covers an area of 14,120 hectares and is the oldest national park in Nevada. It is called the Valley of Fire because the large area of Mesozoic red sandstone exposed on the surface of the valley refracts a fiery red color under the sun, and it looks like a burning valley from a distance.
😝Because of its full otherworldly feeling, it has also become the filming location for many Hollywood sci-fi films, such as 'Star Trek VII: The Final Frontier', and 'Transformers', etc.
The entrance fee is 10 dollars per car, the administrator gives a park map, the main attractions are marked on the map, friends who are going to play must prepare enough dry food and water, and it is recommended to use the 'TanTu Offline Map', the park network signal is poor, it is still more reliable to use the offline map!
📍Attraction name: The Valley of Fire
📍Ticket price: 10 dollars/car

The Getty Villa Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
The Getty Villa
#losangeles
The Villa is an Art museum focusing on ancient Greek and Roman history and architecture. The design of the villa was modeled after Greek and Roman design. The outdoor areas are gorgeous!! The design is amazing, down to the small details. The museum portions were very informative and cool. There is a focus on statues from both ancient civilizations. The museum also includes a cafe and a theater for special shows.
The most gorgeous villa/ museum in LA
Talk about home goals; The Getty Villa Museum (not to be confused with The Getty Centre), is a stunning seaside establishment that houses Greek and Roman antiques in a recreated Roman country home. Getting to the place requires a drive out of the city, but the views and architecture is well-worth the travel.
The best part? Admission is FREE! Take a leisurely stroll along the palatial grounds. The outdoor garden features a large reflecting pool, ornate sculptures, and even views of the Pacific Ocean. And inside, the museum/ villa is home to ancient art that dates back some 4,000 years ago - from preserved relics to stunning gems. But just the architecture alone is enough to capture attention. Every corner you turn brings you to a photogenic place; you won’t be able to stop snapping pictures! #Museum #villa #Ocean

Getty Villa Museum
Getty Museum completes construction of new building.
The J. Paul Getty Museum in the United States announced last week that it has purchased 17 paintings from an anonymous British collector, including works by Italian painter Michelangelo.
(Michelangelo), French painter Jean-Antoine Watteau, Spanish painter Francisco Goya, and other important artists' works are estimated to have a total value of over 100 million US dollars.
"This is the most expensive collection acquisition by the Getty Museum since its establishment in 1974, significantly improving the quality of paintings in the museum's collection," said Timothy Potts, director of the museum.
Among the 17 newly acquired paintings, there are 16 Old Master paintings and one 18th-century oil painting - "La Surprise". This oil painting was completed by French painter Jean-Antoine Watteau in 1718, depicting a musician playing guitar for a couple dancing. The painting was once considered lost until it appeared on the auction market in 2008 and was finally sold for £12.36 million (approximately $24.49 million at the time).
