Oslo Domkirke is an historic landmark in Oslo, Norway. It is the third cathedral established in Oslo and its consecration took place in 1697. Most of what the structure contains is that old. The cathedral houses many works of art, including Arrigo Minerbi's sculpture depicting a communion, and Emanuel Vigeland's stained glass windows. The church displays its restoration which was completed in 1950, to coincide with the occasion of Oslo's ninth centennial. Tourists will find the settings of Oslo Domkirke a tranquil oasis in the bustling modern city of Oslo. Drawings made by children reflecting recent events in Oslo are also displayed inside.
