"Shanghai Peace Park" (formerly "Tilan Park"), located on Dalian Road, northeast of Hongkou District, Shanghai, is the only comprehensive park in Shanghai City except for Shanghai Zoo, which is free to the public. Nearby are the Haishanghai business district, rail transit line 8 Anshan New Village, rail transit line 10 post and telecommunications Xincun station or Siping Road station under Exit 3. There is a small leisure affordable supermarket at the entrance of the park. There is a park guide map and a park introduction at the entrance. The whole park has four gates, Dalian Road is Gate 1 (with parking space), Xingang Road is close to Hongzhen Old Street is Gate 2, Tianbao Road is Gate 3, Xingang Road is close to Ruihong Road is Gate 4. Representative scenic spots in the park include Peace Square, scenic tourist area, children's entertainment area and ecological animal island. Peace Square has peace pigeons flying freely, stray cats strolling leisurely, and families flying kites there. Tourists can buy special pigeons to feed pigeons, pigeons for 3 yuan/package. In addition, there are large stone carvings and peace doves symbolizing peace. In addition to the rich plant communities in the scenic area, there are Baihua Pavilion, Water Plum, Stone Plum, and artificial lakes that reflect the characteristics of Chinese classical architecture. The artificial lake is quite large and you can pay for electric boats. The children's play area (basic charge of 10 yuan/person) is located at Gate 3, and has basic carousel, solitaire, swing and other amusement facilities and amusement projects like other parks. The ecological animal island in the heart of the lake (charge, 10 yuan a ticket, open from 9:00 to 16:00) is surrounded by water. There are wetlands and wooden trestle bridges on the east side of the island. Animals can be viewed from entering the island through the bridge on the west side of the island. There are various birds, monkeys, peacocks, piglets, sika deer, goats and other animals that visitors can feed. The free-range fence of tigers, lions, bears and leopards has transparent plexiglass viewing windows. Overall, it is a relatively comprehensive old park for leisure, walking and viewing of citizens in the city center.
