Kensington Gardens is located on the west side of Hyde Park and is connected to it. It covers an area of 111 hectares. Kensington Gardens, originally the west end of Hyde Park, was built at the request of Queen Caroline between 1726 and 1731 to draw Kensington Gardens from Hyde Park and become the Royal Garden of Kensington Palace, so Kensington Gardens is more refined than Hyde Park.
