Mirador San Nicolas Review

San Nicolas Square (Plaza de San Nicolas) is a lively place any time of day, with craftsmen, flamenco dancers, and street musicians setting up along the paving stones to entertain visitors. At dusk, crowds of locals and tourists turn out to watch the sunset over the palace grounds before adjourning to restaurants and tea shops on nearby Elvira Street. 

The St. Nicholas Watchtower, located at the commanding height of Albaicin, is the perfect spot to see the Alhambra, and the magnificentness of the palace is stunning from this angle. There is also a row of restaurants below the watchtower.

When I came to the Nicholas Observatory, I could see the whole view of the Alhambra Palace. The night view was really beautiful and shocking. The photos of the SLR can't express the scenery I saw in front of me.

I was able to enjoy the beautiful cityscape of Granada, not to mention the Alhambra. The bus to this point was thrilling and the best memory!

Go to Nicholas Watch Tower for an afternoon tea and enjoy the magnificent panoramic view of the Alhambra Palace. Enjoy the slow pace of the Spaniards. Walk around the old town under the Agong Mountain. Taste the food. (Buy a one-in-one ticket to the palace.)

The river between Albaysin and the Palace of Abrams is like a valley, so you can follow the steps along the road next to the river to the St Nicholas Observation Deck in Albaysin. The observation deck is free, go to the sunset at 8 o'clock, and the lights will be on at 9 o'clock.

It was a great place to enjoy the view of the Alhambra. We stayed at a hotel near the Darro River so for us it was almost a hike through Albayzin. The trip to get there was a bit of a mess, but once we did, we found the view there was fantastic, 100 [%] worthy of the hike.
