Childrens Forest

A beautiful place. They had a very informative interpretive trail, with a map to find the locations of the interpretive sites and booklet with information about the ecology, plants and animals of the area. We did not see the Three-wattled Bellbird, but did get a good close up look at Lesson's Motmot. Not too many visitors the day we went, in fact the parking lot was empty so we thought it was closed. The trails are somewhat steep and with loose rocks, making it a bit treacherous. Not recommended for small children (even though it is "Children's Eternal Rain Forest" or for people who may have a hard time on steeper/rocky trails.
