Dadonghai is a bay that is relatively close to the Sanya city center. Needs for transportation, dining, and accommodations can all be easily met here. Although the sand and water quality are slightly inferior to those of Yalong Bay, they are much better than those of Sanya Bay; with its excellent geographical location and affordable hotel prices, it has become a very cost-effective vacation place. Dadong Sea is surrounded by mountains on three sides, and the whole bay has a beautiful crescent shape. A coconut forest surrounds the beach, giving the whole place a very pleasant atmosphere. Luhuitou Peninsula Scenic Area is very close to Dadong Sea, so the two can be visited together.
