The Austrian National Museum is located in the Hofburg Palace in Vienna and is the largest library in Austria. The library was founded by the Habsburg dynasty and was named the Hof Library, which was changed to the Austrian National Library in 1920. The splendid library houses a collection of 7.4 million books including papyrus, manuscripts, ancient and rare books, globes, music, portraits, charts, photographs, signatures and posters, and works in other languages.
