According to the historical records, in the early years of the Houliang founding, Lu Guangxu held the Western monks and Morosh after arriving in Wuwei, in order to settle his body and mind, he ordered the recruitment of skilled craftsmen from all over the world, Daxing Shimu built the monastery, and after the construction, he named the Morosh Temple, so that the master of Morosh lived in it. After Master Roche's death, his disciples obeyed his will and worshipped his "tongue" and built a memorial tower in the place where he worshiped the "tongue", which is today's Roche Temple Tower. The tower is the only well-preserved ancient building of Luoshi Temple, and is now a key cultural relics protection unit at the provincial level in Gansu.
