You won’t regret staying here. In summary it’s a very nice hotel (quite large actually) that is perfectly located (about 1km walking from the sand dunes (Mingsha mountain and Creacent Moon spring area). Staff is extremely friendly and helpful and the architecture is also really nice. The views from the roof top terrace (breakfast/ coffee spot) are amazing and the breakfast itself is also quite good. The downside that’s also to mention: Price wise it’s a bit expensive especially during holiday season. Rooms are a bit old and you can hear everyone passing by.

Although it is an old hotel, the facilities are well maintained. There are many things related to Mogao Grottoes in the hotel, which can be seen, and there is also a cultural and creative store. There are supermarkets and pharmacies nearby, and there is a large parking lot, which is convenient for self-driving. The night market is not far away, just cross the road and walk 100 or 200 meters to get there. There are not many varieties of breakfast, but you can eat enough. But 68 per person is expensive, and there are also places to eat breakfast nearby. The room structure is relatively compact, but there are uncleaned hair in the bathroom and on the chairs. The cleaning is not thorough. Except for a small cup of apricot peel tea and a hand towel when checking in, there is no service. It is quite satisfactory. Not very enthusiastic.

Metropark is a nice hotel located near a river and is relatively central to the city. A lovely staff member, 李雪 (Li Xue) helped me check in and she took me to my hotel room. She was extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel room is very spacious, clean and quite luxurious. The hotel is within walking distance to the night market and the museum. I always stay at this hotel when I come to Dunhuang. It is convenient for transportation and you can walk to the Dunhuang Night Market. The service attitude is also very good. It is worth recommending.

Very affordable and great value for money with all the helpful front staff to housekeeping. Just around the corner is the street food with lots of restaurants n the Shahzhou nite Market is just 15 minutes walk away. I highly recommend anyone wishing to come to Dunhuang seeking reasonable and quality accommodation to stay here.

The whole environment is very suitable for taking pictures and is worth experiencing. The staff is also very enthusiastic. Due to some problems with our schedule, we arrived at the hotel very late. The service staff waited for us and gave us some snacks. We forgot to bring wine, and the service staff immediately solved the problem of wine for us. It is great to have such service in the desert. Accommodation in Dunhuang is relatively cheap in the off-season, and the service is also relatively good. The hotel is not far from Mingsha Mountain and is also relatively close to the Dunhuang Night Market. This hotel has airport pick-up service, which is very good. I booked it for one day and directly renewed it for 2 days. The hotel is clean and hygienic, so I won't say much about it. The bed is very comfortable, the bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas, the toilet is electric, and the breakfast is very rich and superb.
