This was originally a short visit in Bad Harzburg and I even didn't plan to go to the Burgberg but when I saw those lovely cabins I couldn't resist and caught the last possible ride that day. I don't ...

Good starting point for hiking
Not cheap but it saves you some steep hiking meters. Last tour is about 18:00 so dont be late for that or you have to hike down
Uncomfortable working time
Even in the season open from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00, it is uncomfortable! The price of one end is 3 euros, and both ends are 4 euros. If you are not a pensioner, it is easier to walk!
