We stumbled across this while just walking around town. It's a pretty unusual-looking machine/art/statue/??? Worth a stop if you're nearby. I'd sure like to see it operate!

Great Story

Part of our Gate 1 walk tour. Located right next to St Stephen's. The story about the convicts and prostitutes operating the well was more interesting than just seeing the structure.
