East end public beach was muddy and murky. We didn't even want to go in the water. The West end public beach was much better. Still not clear water, but better than east end. We recommend riding the F...
No shells on my visit
Beach is nice but no shells… wasn’t real crowded. Water was clear and gentle. Beach was clean. I’m a sheller so no shells was disappointing.

Nice Beach
Nice views and white sand. Quiet area. Hope to visit again and stay longer. Easy to get to. Love the ferry ride over to the island.
Do not use Dauphin Island Beach Rentals!
We are very disappointed with our VRBO. Dauphin Island Beach Rentals is a scam. The house was filthy! With no clean place to stay, we ran and picked up cleaning supplies to at least clean the kitch...
