Royal Air Force Museum London

The Royal Air Force Museum is located in Collindale, London. From London downtown, you can take the metro (tube) there. It is free admission. Be aware that since the whole museum area is so big, you can spend a few hours there. There are a lot of different kinds of fighter aircraft and aerial ambulance there. You will learn a lot of it after you finish the museum.

1-10 heaven for a boy. Very great and amazing museum, our family had a great day. Afternoon tea is very cheap, a total of 6 exhibition halls. World War I and World War II and modern aviation exhibitions. There is also a timeline of 1980-2020. There are handmade and operable computer simulation flights.

Parking is only £4.5 for a fee. It was a good start. The museum is spread in many different places so it takes a long walk. The RAF has a long history. There are 3 cafes, the food is great, and there is a gift shop. Dambusters, 3D cycling, spitfire trips all require extra fees. Suitable for family travel, lots of outdoor space and fun stuff. Worth seeing.

Located just 15 minutes walk from Colindale tube station, offers excellent collection of of planes with Avro Vulcan as a cherry on top. As we are focused at II WW we felt like we were in heaven in hangars 3, 4 and 5. Highly recommend.

The Air Force was once the pride of the British army and had a very brilliant record in World War II. A large number of World War II airplanes and modern advanced cold war airplanes are on display throughout the museum. The exhibits are excellent and deserve a good study and appreciation by military fans.
