The history of the old city of Enshi Museum: Enshi Old City was built in the Southern Song Dynasty for three years, with earth building walls and Ming Hongwu for fourteen years. In the 13 years of Qing Dynasty, the Ming City Wall was repaired and renovated. The city and the outside formed 12th Street 19th Lane, mainly Dongzheng Street (Zhongshan Road), Nanzheng Street (Jiefang Road), Xizheng Street, Beizheng Street, Gulou Street (Park Street), West Back Street (Heping Street), Xicheng Street, Zhushi Street (Siwei Street), Beimen Outer Street (Shengli Street), Yuanjia Lane, Sanyigong Lane, Yuxiang, Shajing Lane, Zhangjia Lane, Linjia Lane. Now except for Dongmen Street, Yuxiang and Zhangjia Lane South Section have disappeared due to the block renovation, and other streets and alleys have maintained the original pattern.
Enshi City Museum, located at No. 6 Park Street, Enshi City, Hubei Province, is a museum built on the old site of Enshi District Committee County Party Committee. The museum is based on the history of the War of Resistance Against Japan, and displays the status, role and history of Enshi in the War of Resistance Against Japan as the capital of Hubei Province after the fall of Wuhan in the War of Resistance Against Japan through text, pictures and a small number of physical objects.
