A delightful walk right in Franz Josef township
A delightful short walk very near to Franz Josef town centre and very accessible. Fully shaded. No restrooms - not needed. Easy free parking on main road - SH6.
Take a torch!
I was told there were glow worms to be seen on this path so set off when darkness fell. I just had the torch on my phone but should really have had a better beam with me as got pitch black very quick...
Night time glow worn
Did this in the evening after sun down. Kinda cool holding hands with hubby walking thru the forest using flash lights! Be careful when you get to the end, there's a bench and a rope to stop you from ...
Short walk
This was a short walk.. through the forest.. would be suited for kids as easy walking. We were expecting a bigger walk!
