Just saw a wolf on the path to the falls (no, it wasn't a coyote). Didn't expect to see one here!
Was hoping to go to the base of the falls, but got interrupted by wildlife! Wolf walked 20 feet in front of us.
Pretty
The Cascade Waterfall can be easily seen from the TransCanada Highway/1. It is high but not great water flow, at least in September. It can be seen from a field near its base or one can hike a trail...
Stunning place to appreciate views
We really enjoyed this as it is well appointed with small bridges and viewpoints. The surrounding country is very lovely.
Small falls right basically in town
Wasn't what I expected but it was a nice gentle waterfall. Pleasant surrounding on part of our tour.
Spectacular view but very difficult climb to the base of the falls
I saw the falls from the Trans-Canadian highway interchange to downtown Banff and pulled off. The falls are very high and not much water, but the view was incredible. My wife and I headed out to vie...
