good beach
there are few people and cool location. sometimes many people too much especially summer vacationers in there. But you should do there caz local is nice and helpful. You’ll enjoying.
Ubara is definitely the nicest of the beaches in the Katsuura area. This is quite off the beaten path for anyone besides surfers, and you're likely to be the only foreigner here, but the water is clea...
I went to see the white torii gate on the beach. Since it is not the sea bathing season, only two people are surfing. The road is narrow, so be careful if you drive in the summer. The torii gate on the beach is Yasaka Shrine. Yasaka Shrine is JR Sotobo Line It's in front of national route 128.
The Kashihara coast is a beautiful beach with both the sea and the sandy beach, and at the edge of the sandy beach is the Ichino Torii gate of Yasaka Shrine, which is impressive in white, and is a photogenic place. In winter, you can relax while looking at the sea just by having surfers. You can walk from Kashihara Station on the JR Sotobo Line in less than 10 minutes.
It is a beach about a few minutes drive from JR Kashihara Station. It is crowded with surfers. It may be good to see the sunrise. There were still many surfers around late September. There is a toilet facility.
