Masjid Bahagian Kuching, commonly known as Masjid Bandaraya Kuching, is a mosque in Kuching, Malaysia. Masjid Bandaraya Kuching is the primary mosque in Kuching, Sarawak, and functioned as the state mosque prior to the construction of a new mosque at Petra Jaya. Its design is based on the Public Works Department's (JKR) modular modern vernacular typology, which was developed in the 1960s. Although the current edifice was finished in 1968, its history may be dated back to 1840. The mosque's location is thought to be one of the oldest in Kuching. It was formed by a Pangeran, a local leader nominated by the Brunei Sultanate. The modest mosque was built on a slope beside a river. It existed before to the introduction of the White.
