Although this place is historic and has some memories it is not very well maintained and does not provide information on what is there. With some cash and TLC this could be a wonderful place.
Fascinating part of maryborough history and information on first pioneer..George Furber park beautifully kept..a must for all to bbqs or picnic and learn local history.
After a lengthy process acquiring and making safe the HMAS TOBRUK, Hervey Bay has finally has a new major dive site. The Boat was made safe and several entries/ exits cut into her.On Friday, 29th June...
Unfortunately many of the plaques are missing but what there is give an idea of how Maryboroughs inhabitants started, lots of bamboo to see and old graves sites but not much else, not well maintained.

Disappointing
