Nice bridge
We stayed at Mercure Hotel Okinawa and every day we crossed the Kitameiji Bridge to Onoyama Park. It was a pedestrian bridge with a nice view on both sides.
It is a bridge connecting Okubuyama Park and Asahikawa Station.
Original Text
Kita Meiji Bridge is a bridge over the Kokuba River that continues from Naha Port. It is a magnificent bridge that connects Obuyama Park and Asahikawa Station, with a length of 128m and a width of 12.4m, but it seems that cars cannot pass. We passed by when we got off the Yui Rail at Tsubogawa Station and headed for Okubuyama Park on the opposite bank. The national field side is a wide river, and when I crossed the bridge, the gentle breeze was pleasant.
Since there is no car, it is a bridge that feels like a leisurely wide 々. If the fare is not different, it is recommended to get off at Tsubogawa Station rather than Obuyama Park Station when going to Obuyama Park and go through this bridge.
At Okubuyama Park, each event and festival in Naha city is held, but it is very convenient to access Okubuyama Park from Tsubogawa station immediately.
It seems that Mt. Obu used to be Nakasu, and the bridge has changed considerably due to changes in topography such as landfill. The current bridge is a humanitarian bridge connecting Tsubogawa Station on the Yui Rail and Okubuyama Park, and the name is "Kita Meiji Bridge". There was an explanation that the reason why the north was because there was a bridge in the south, and that "Mt. Minami Meiji Bridge" existed in the time when Mt. Obu was Nakasu.

Easy access to Okubuyama Park

I've seen the transition of the bridge.
