Gatorland

Gatorland is a 45 hectare theme park and at the same time a wildlife sanctuary. It is located in the state of Florida, located south of the city of Orlando. The park was founded in 1949 by Owen Godwin on a former farm and has been privately owned by his family ever since. Billed as the "capital of the alligator world," Gatherland features thousands of alligators, crocodiles and many other animals. Gatorland is home to many different species of crocodiles and alligators, and an impressive crocodile feeding show is held at 12 o'clock, in which huge crocodiles jump out of the water for a portion of food. Also during the day, you can see the spectacle when a park employee enters the aviary and communicates with animals, for example, thrusts his head into the mouth of a crocodile. A walk through Gatorland at night with one flashlight in hand deserves special attention. In the middle of Gatorland Park there is a large lake, home to numerous species of birds, including pink flamingos. Birds and animals of the park are allowed to be fed only with special food purchased in the park.
