A must visit place with history

A very old church situated on the banks of the river. There is a lovely man that gives you a mini tour. It worths a visit.

We turned up at the same time as a group of school children so we were able to go in, not sure it was open otherwise. Lovely shape and some of the frescos could still be made out

went here because of recommendation my hostel. if you don't have a car, you can take a bus to pyli from trikala for 2.2€. the walk from the bus stop to the church is ~15-30mins and the view is phenome...
