Dusty old museum with ancient artefacts housed in dirty glass cases. Barely any info about french colonization and incredibly unfriendly staff. Best to avoid

Pondicherry Museum

If you have been to other Archaeological museums, then this museum will not impress you. The museum has many collections of relics - no doubt - however I had expected more.

Neatly maintained

Sculptures are well maintained. Staffs are there everywhere to guide you and also to ensure that you are not touching anything. Paintings are also nice
