Très beau phare, bien entretenu....224 marches qui se montent assez facilement pour accéder à une vue extraordinaire.... Aux alentours du phare divers petits commerces.
Vue imprenable : jumelles indispensables
Le détour en vaut la chandelle de monter toutes les marches jusqu'en haut du phare. Je recommande de prendre des jumelles afin de mieux visualiser les côtes et l'île d'Oleron.
