In Shinji-cho, Sendai, there are many temples of the Soto sect and the Jodo sect, and this temple is the temple of the Jishu sect by the opening of the Ippen Shonin. In the garden, there is a statue of Ippen Shonin who chants Nembutsu with all his heart.
