Paomazonghui Site

The former site of the Horse Running Club is close to the People's Park at the Nanxun intersection of Nanjing Road. Now this building is the seat of the Shanghai History Museum. It was built in 1933 and is known as the largest racecourse in the Far East. The whole building is in English classical style and has a clock tower of nearly 8 floors. After liberation, it was rebuilt as Shanghai Library, Design Institute, Shanghai Art Museum, and settled in the Shanghai History Museum in 2016.

The old site of the Horse Running Association is now the Shanghai History Museum. Now it is reserved in the back row. It seems that the area is not visited now. The Shanghai History Museum recently held a special exhibition of porcelain. It is still worth seeing.
