Some believe in the possibility of the existence of wild men, arguing that reports of wild men from around the world cannot be entirely dismissed as unfounded rumors. The fact that we have not yet found them does not rule out their existence. So, the question arises, do these mysterious wild men really exist? With these doubts and curiosities, let's discuss today the stories about Shennongjia. Shennongjia is the abbreviation for the Shennongjia Forest District, which is the only administrative region in China named after a forest area. Moreover, it is particularly worth mentioning that traces of wild men have been discovered in the Shennongjia Forest District, and to this day, it remains an unsolved mystery! Back in the 1970s and 1980s, the remote Shennongjia area in the northwestern part of Hubei Province suddenly attracted the attention of the national and even international biological community. The reason was that five local officials claimed to have found traces of the legendary 'wild man' near Shennongjia—this creature, long rumored among the local mountain people, is said to have black hair with a hint of red, round eyes, a wide mouth, swift movements, and to be extremely ferocious.

Shennongjia Tourist Area, officially known as Shennongjia International Ecotourism Area, is a national AAAAA-level scenic spot; located in the Shennongjia Forest District in the northwest of Hubei Province, China, with a total area of over 3000 square kilometers; it is the first in China to be jointly included in the 'Triple Crown' list of heritage sites by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization's Man and the Biosphere Reserve, the World Geopark, and the World Heritage conservation systems. May Day trip to Shennongjia|||Guanmenshan - Shennong Peak - Jinhou Ridge - Tiansheng Bridge - Shennong Altar (Recommended: Jinhou Ridge, Tiansheng Bridge, Shennong Altar) On May 3rd, I took an early high-speed train from Jingzhou to Yichang, and directly boarded a tourist bus upon leaving the train station. Unfortunately, it rained all day, and the view from the mountaintop could not be fully appreciated. The fog became the theme of the trip to Shennongjia. The wet azaleas seemed even more vivid, and the waterfall at Jinhou Ridge was the most beautiful end to the day. Compared to the first day, the Tiansheng Bridge and Shennong Altar on May 4th were much more surprising (the Shennong Altar really had a sacred feeling of ancestral presence). The entire Shennongjia, set against the backdrop of clouds and mist, was very solemn. Fortunately, aside from some traffic congestion on May 3rd, the rest of the trip went smoothly (after all, getting up at 5 am is part of the itinerary). Tiansheng Bridge~Shennong Altar~Guanmen Mountain It takes about 20 minutes from Muyu Town to Tiansheng Bridge, and the play time at Tiansheng Bridge is about 1.5 hours. It takes 1.5 hours to go to Shennong Altar, about 7 minutes to Guanmen Mountain, and about 3 hours to play at Guanmen Mountain, and 10 minutes to return to Muyu Town. The distance between each scenic spot is okay, it is very suitable to arrange in one day, not tired, and will not feel very compact.
